The briquette dryer machine made is a drying machine that uses a closed vapor compression cycle that utilizes hot air from the condenser to dry the briquettes. The main components of this drying machine are compressor, condenser, capillary pipe, evaporator, and filter enhancement equipment with working fluid R410a. Compressor used as much as 1 piece with a compressor power of 900 Watt, while for other components adjust to the size of the compressor. The cupboard on the dryer is designed for a 50 kg briquette capacity, px x 120: 120 cm x 120 cm x 135 cm, with a closed system. The main ingredients for making briquettes are charcoal from coconut shell, charcoal, starch and starch, with 70% coconut composition, 20% wood charcoal, 5% starch flour, and 5% ash. Briquettes used for cube-shaped research with size 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm. Volume of briquette of 15.625 cm3 with weight per briquette 19 grams. The variation of this research is using 0 fan and 1 fan.

Closed briquette drying machine is successfully built and works well. To dry 50 kg wet briquettes without using a fan, the briquette dryer takes 7 hours. To dry 50 kg wet briquettes using 1 fan, briquette dryer takes 6 hours.
